**Update**

David had his welding test and it went really well!! He said the guy (Bill) that was having him weld was really hard to read and didn't say much but David felt that the guy wasn't disappointed. I guess David did some things differently like when he mig welds and tig welds, he welds in sections and they wanted him to do one long weld for like 18 inches. So he did. Also, he pulls when welding and doesn't push, they push. Then when they had him tig weld the guy saw David pulsing his foot and asked him if something was wrong. David told him no, everything was fine and the guy told him that he saw his foot pulsing. The guy asked David if he knew the welder had an automatic pulse on it and David told him yeah but that he preferred controlling it with his foot. The guy seemed okay with that.

On the way out the guy took a detour to some guy's office and dropped David's box of welding samples on the desk in front of the guy. The guy picked up David's samples and looked at them and looked at the other guy and said "and I thought you were a good welder, Bill" so David took that as a good sign. They asked him about pay too. David took them to the truck too so they could see a frame that David built. The guy looked at one of David's welding samples and asked him if he built bikes. The guy also had just been to Edmond which was kind of neat. When David was leaving the guy told him that he would talk to the boss about pay and would be in touch. Sounds like he's got the job to me! I hope they call him tomorrow and don't make us wait.

David said the place was really awesome. He said they had some really nice equipment and saw some of the biggest pieces of metal he's ever seen. I guess they work on space shuttle type things or something. He said he was in awe over the machine shop.

He really wants to work there and I am going to keep praying he gets this job!! It would be so awesome and such a relief!
