Trail 90's Galore

The red Trail 90 is the first one we got. The yellow is the one we picked up last night. I would have taken better pictures of the yellow one but as you can see, it's between some others.

These 2 red ones are the ones we picked up tonight. The one on the left has the accessories that came with it. They're the grey pieces.

And this is the 1965 Yamaha that David picked up today for $10

Austin has one now too, so now the garage is full of Trail 90's.

The Races

Here is a video of a truck we saw at the races. Please excuse my camera man...he has been fired from camera duty. And it's blurry at first I think. Sorry, please bear with the crapiness! This truck ran twice. This is the second time. I didn't catch his time but the truck is going faster than it looks on the video.

Trip to Salt Lake

We just got back from spending the weekend in Salt Lake. Saturday was David's birthday and after a late start we made it to Salt Lake to the race track for some top fuel racing.

After the races were over they let people walk on the track to feel how sticky it was. It was sticky enough to pull your shoe off your foot.

Then on Sunday we spent most of the day with Austin's family. His brother in law took us on a little drive around the area and we went up some canyon and took some pictures.

Itwas a long but good weekend. After we left Austin's uncle's house, we stopped by Provo and picked up a toy for Austin. He got a yellow Trail 90! Then, David noticed that this one Trail 90 that he had called on (and never got a call back) was still on KSL so he called the guy and told him we wanted to come look at it. So, we all drove from Provo, to Tremonton to look at a van, to Pocatello to see this Trail 90. It was a looong drive! Anyways, David ended up buying this Trail 90 for a ridiculously cheap price. I still can't believe it. It has quite a few accessories on it that are missing on the other Trail 90 we got, so David's excited about that! Now we can all ride together!

Birthday Boy

Yep, it's David's birthday today! He is 26! He gets to celebrate his birthday at the races watching top fuel. And this morning he went out and got a couple things for our new Honda Trail 90. He's so excited to have this bike! At first I suggested we get a kayak for our birthday and so we almost got one but the guy ended up being weird and it fell through. I'm glad though...I don't really want to drown from a flipped over kayak. So I mentioned we should get a trail 90 and yesterday we bought one! It doesn't need any work really but David's been messing with it ever since he got it!

Freak Mosquitos

Occasionally I will swell up after getting bit by a mosquito and other times it's your run of the mill small bump. But ever since I came to Idaho, I have come across a breed of freak mosquitos. They make me itch to where I feel like I could scratch my skin off. And then the area swells up huge. I took a picture to show you but it's blurry. It's kinda hard to take a picture of your right hand with your left hand...when you're right handed. Not to mention I had to turn the flash off which means I have to hold the camera really still and well, apparently my left hand is a little shaky!

Please excuse the messy coffee table :0)

Can you see that lovely bump on the right side of my hand? Crazy I tell ya.

Birthday Present

Today David and I drove down to Salt Lake City and picked up a birthday present for the both of us!

For now we will have to share it but eventually we want to get another one. It's a trail bike. We can take it up into the mountains and go on trails that are too hard on foot or too narrow for 4 wheelers! We're super excited! Thanks Dad!!

Sunset

Tonight we went to a local reservoir and rode around in the boat and then we rode around in the speed boat. Afterwards we were all starving so we went and got some chinese. Yum. I took some pictures of the sky tonight when we got back to the house.

Michael Jackson Died

Pictures

On our little hike the other day, Vicki saw this paw print in the dirt...we're hoping it was someone hiking with their dog...

It's always good to take a photo of yourself while hiking. Don't you think?

Demolition Derby and a Hike

On Saturday we went to a demolition derby. Can you believe what we are wearing in mid June??

Watching cars crash into each other--always entertaining!

We went on a hike last night up to Willow Flats to a spring called Willow Spring. It was the perfect hike. Not too long and not too hard!

I had the hardest time getting a good picture of David getting water out of the spring. We took up jugs to fill up witht the spring water. It's so cold and good! It's coming straight out of the mountain right here! Isn't that amazing?!

Here it is coming out of another spot in the mountain.

And here is another place where the spring comes right out of the ground!

Someday I might be posting pictures of me with a buck that I just shot! Hahaha I don't thinks so! I'm not that outdoorsy! David and I are having an awesome time!

I Forgot...

I just have to share everything and I forgot to show you the pictures of the cows in the road and the squirrel chipmunk think scratching itself. So cute!

Birthday Recap

As I'm typing this I'm hoping my computer doesn't crash. Dell is sending me a new hard drive. My birthday was fun. It was a long day. We went to Minnetonka Cave and took the tour. It was a looooonnngggg tour and I thought I might not make it out since I'm so out of shape but I did. Here's is a picture of David and I on our way there. This is before the pain.

It's like the first decent picture David and I have taken in oh....4 years I'd say. Guess we were both having a good day :0) One of Austin's friends daughter's caught this fish:

So we took it to Vicki's dad and had him filet it for us. Austin fileted (spelling?) the rest of it. We're eating it tonight. It's trout.

On the way to Vicki's parent's campsite we saw these people unloading all of these sheep into the mountains. I guess some guy stays out there with them in a little trailer. There were A LOT of sheep.

While we were at her parent's campsite I took a picture of this guy in the picture above and the hummingbird below. Vicki's parents are making friends with all the animals at their campsite.

Then we headed on over to the cave. While we were waiting for the tour to start, we fed M&M's to the chipmunks.

This cave stays a constant 40 degrees year round.

Then we went to Olive Garden and had dinner. It was really good. I had a peach bellini iced tea and it was delicious!!

This is a flower that I think is really pretty and my favorite shade of yellow. And please note the adorable rose earrings I am wearing...I made them :0)

And then when we got home we plopped on the couch. It was a good day!

Stupid Computer!!

I have some sweet pictures to share from my birthday and the last few days but my computer is pretty much dead right now. Hopefully it will be up and running soon and I can get some pictures posted!

Guess What!

Today is my birthday! I am 25 years old today! Wow!

Anyway, I'm not going to post anything about that right now. I'm going to show you some pictures from David's hike yesterday.

How pretty!

He also got picture of some water pouring down the side of a mountain but he didn't roll the window down. When I saw the picture I was like "nice picture of bird poop on the window." and he said "what? That's water." Oh. Here's the picture, you'll see what I mean...it looks like bird poop on the window.

Perhaps you think it looks like water but I'm going to assume that's because I already told you what it was. You've got to admit--it does look like bird poo!
