David's phone was dead and lost (surprise, surprise)for like a week and a half or something. I found the phone and David finally charged it. He was listening to his messages and we had one from our patent attorney and he told David that we FINALLY got the patent! It was a process that took 4 years, instead of the 2 that we were told. The hang up was that there is another valve spring removing tool and at first they U.S. Patent office tried to tell us they were essentially the same. Then when the attorney fought that, they said that basically anybody could have come up with David's tool. Apparently the attorney came back with a good argument because we got the patent.
Along with that good news, we got messages from Goodson's saying they wanted some and oddly enough 2 people who own shops left messages saying they wanted one. Weird how things happen.
I forgot to write about this, so I figured I better get it down!
