Look at her kissing that baby in the mirror.

New Hair Clippie
Someone got a new hair clippie. She is so adorable.
Last night was so cute. Avery does things that are super cute and I think she knows it but last night was the first time I've seen her actually play a little game with her daddy. It sounded like she said "mom" last night so David asked her if she said mom and she gets this huge smile on her face (she was sitting in her bouncy chair) and flings her right arm over and grabs the left side of her seat and twists her body and squeals. Then flings herself back to her regular position. David asked her again if she said mom and she did the exact same thing, over and over they did this. It was so cute. Then she started doing this thing where she'd tense up her body and let out this loud noise and grin and we'd laugh at her and she'd do it again and again. She is so cute.
She makes more and more noises every day. She can move all over the place and she's gotten really good at turning circles while up on her hands. We've been practicing sitting and she does pretty well. I always think "she is so fun right now" but then she does new things and I think it all over again. There's going to be a big consignment sale for baby things in Logan in a few weeks and I'm going to go and see if I can get any good deals on some things for Avery. I think she needs new toys (David begs to differ) and books and I want to get her a jumpy thing. Since she is just 6 months old, I can take her to the presale before it's opened to the public. That's cool.
She must be growing because she's sleeping more. She's been taking 2 morning naps (but not this morning since we got up later than usual) and she's eating more. David was holding her last night and said he thought she was getting bigger. Well, I guess she always is.
That girl is a cutie. There's no denying it!

Crib
CuTiE PiE
I love this girl. Last night she was in such a great mood. She's usually in a good mood but last night she was even more happy. Her little "vocabulary" is expanding. She's making new noises and new "words". She's also been making some new faces which have been pretty entertaining.
The other day she had me laughing because she had pulled her sock of her foot and I handed it to her and she put it in her mouth but just left it there. She didn't chew on it or anything. It was just hanging there for the longest time. Even when I moved her around it hung from her mouth like she forgot it was there. It was cute.
She learned all about the human body because we took her to the Bodies exhibit up in Idaho Falls. That's an interesting thing to see...
She is such a happy girl. We are really blessed!

Happy Easter!
David and I were in a hurry this morning and so this is pretty much the only picture I got of Avery by herself. I didn't get any of us as a family.

Busy Busy
Avery and I have been super busy this week and David's been working some long hours. We're thankful for that!
I bought some bubbles for Avery the other day. At first she just sat there while I blew them and would gasp if they landed on her face. Now she tries to grab them and it's so cute. She'll contort her body so she can get them.
Saturday is my anniversary. 6 years. Wow.
I got my new coffee pot. I really didn't drink alot of coffee until the last few months. Then, when that thing quit working I craved it like crazy. Devil drink :)
And the neat thing about Kuerig is they send you a box of K-cups to try!
Not much going on around here really. Avery is as wonderful as ever!

Avery just woke up as I was uploading these pictures. I love when you can see her little head peeking over the side of her bed. It's so cute! I got a little camera happy last night. I didn't realize I had taken 15 pictures until I loaded them onto my computer. I was hoping to capture her on her knees.

New Things at the Irving House
Well, last Friday we finally got a car...and a scooter. The scooter is going to be David's transportation to and from work. Hopefully we'll save some gas money :)
The scooter is pretty fun. The car is by far the nicest I've ever owned. Not the newest (still miss my Corolla) but the nicest. It has heated leather seats in the front and back. It has sweet memory for drivers 1 and 2. It moves the mirrors, seats, steering wheel, radio stations and heating/air to your setting. It tells you when you need to replace your fluids, your battery, your miles per gallon, how much gas you've used and about a million other things I can't even remember. So, it's pretty fancy for what David and I are used to. It's a smooth ride.
I am now the owner of a Cadillac.
No, I'm not 70 years old. Though most Caddy owners are...or they seem to be of another racial background...
Avery rides in comfort now.
Speaking of Avery, she's still the most precious baby EVER. She's rolling around everywhere. She's just so wonderful. We are so so so happy she belongs to us!

Cereal!
I was going to hold off on food until Avery was 6 months. I was not going to give her cereal. Well, I gave Avery food before 6 months and it was cereal. Geez. I gave her food in hopes that it might help her sleep longer. I didn't want to start her off on jar baby food because I want all of us to start eating our produce from the farmer's market. I gave her some organic cereal that had apples and sweet potatoes in it. She did really well eating it. The good thing is that since I didn't start her on food so early, she doesn't have that tongue reflex that makes babies spit their food back out. She would open wide for her bites. I guess I'll start looking for some produce to start her out on! I don't want to keep giving her the cereal, I'd rather her have some real food.
Mmmm. Good. Full belly = happy girl.
