Quick Update

We are just now about to start taking more stuff over to the cabin but we intend on staying the night there tonight.

We went to Ogden to look at a vehicle for me but it ended up not being what we were hoping. We came back with a snowmobile instead :0) It was a good deal. Very cheap and it runs. So, we'll be watching out for some more deals on a vehicle and hopefully this coming weekend we'll get to try again.

I experienced something new today. While we were driving to and from Ogden/Roy, Utah we were having a hard time keeping our windows defrosted. The INSIDE of our windows had frost on them while we were driving! I have never seen that before.

I hear our new snowmobile running!

Early Morning

David is getting up early to go look for mountain lion tracks. If he and Austin find some they'll call this guy who has hounds so he can bring them out. He better get back in time for church.

Tomorrow we better be moving into that cabin. David keeps finding other things to do rather than doing what needs to be done.

Not sure if we're going to go to Salt Lake to look at a car or not.

I probably won't have much to post tomorrow. I'll post pictures of the cabin if I ever get over there.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Austin on his snowmobile. Not enough snow, he's just playing around.

David is on a 4 wheeler behind Austin.

We still have not made it over to the cabin. David is loading up some shop stuff right now.

Preparing to Move...Still.

David had to work this morning and we didn't get anything done last night. We went and saw Old Dogs so he could celebrate his not working on a Friday night. Anyways, it stressed me out a lot because I had intended on using all of yesterday to get stuff done.

So, now I'm getting everything ready for him to move when he gets off work. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures posted today.

It's snowing just a tad and looks super cold outside. It should be fun moving in the freezing cold. Good thing it's not a whole lot! The other good thing is that the rest of our stuff at the house in town is already boxed up.

Gotta get back to work.

Packing

I've been procrastinating in the worst way. I was planning on getting our stuff all ready to move by today. Has that happened? Not hardly. Austin and Vicki are showing their house on Saturday and probably wondering when I'm going to get the basement under control.

It. Will. Be. Done. Today. Promise.

I can't wait to take some pictures and show off our cute little cabin. This is going to be viewed as another adventure for David & Hannah. This is going to be so helpful to us in reaching our goal to be DEBT FREE!! I am so excited to be working toward our plan. The only thing lacking is a full time job for me which I need to start hitting that hard again. I've kinda slacked since I've been at the cafe.

I'm excited David doesn't have school tonight or have to work at Pizza Stop. He just sold a trailer that we got in Wyoming when our axle broke on my dad's trailer. So, now David's going to start working on fixing my dad's trailer. It should be done by the time he gets here.

Time to go clean, wait on tables, clean, fold silverware, prep food, clean and wait on some more tables. I'm out.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that my family is coming to Idaho from the great state of Oklahoma! I hope all plans go through and nothing prevents them from being able to come. I pray they have traveling mercies!

Inbetween Seasons

I guess one thing that stinks about this time of year is that I have no pictures to post and nothing to write about. There's no snow to do snow sports and obviously, it's not summer anymore!

I'm looking forward to this weekend and moving into our little cabin. I still can't believe we're going to be living in a cabin. :0)

David's been on the lookout for a car for me. He's been seeing some good deals online so hopefully I can get something quick. David said if he ends up getting something junky, he won't make me drive it, I can drive the Toyota. So sweet.

The only exciting thing to happen is that yesterday at the restaurant, we sold pastrami sandwiches and they were a hit. And I'm going to learn to make a white chocolate peppermint mocha like at Starbuck's...yum!

I'm too broke for Christmas presents so I've become crafty and have been working on a project for Amy. I think it's going to be so cute. Too bad I can't knit, everyone else might get knitted underwear or socks if I could!!

Well, time to get dressed for work.
