Utah

Today is our first morning waking up in our house...in UTAH! Can't believe I've lived in 3 states now. David, Austin and I figured out that in our short marriage of almost 6 years, we have moved 7 times. That's too much :)

Avery has been such a good girl while we moved. She would only get fussy by the evening time but that was understandable. She was fine as long as we would hold her. She got tired of being in her swing or chair.

And for exciting news regarding our move: MY TV PICKS UP STATIONS!!! ALSO, SOMEONE HAS AN UNSECURE NETWORK!!! Woohoo!

Avery and I have a lot of unpacking to do today! Need to get busy!

Last Day

Today is our official last day in our house in Preston :(

I am sad to leave this house because it's the house my baby was born in. Last night I had to take a bath because I already took the shower curtain down and I was remembering sitting in that tub while I was in labor. Maybe someday Avery will come back here to see the house she was born in.

We've got everything moved except the big stuff which will be moved today. Then we will be in Utah. Blech. Oh well, good things to come because of this!

Not much progress

Avery getting her shots yesterday was seriously the saddest thing ever. Ever. So far anyway :)

I took some of Avery's things over yesterday to the new house and will continue doing so. We were supposed to get some work done last night but David and I have discovered this show on netflix called American Pickers. It's David's dream job! These 2 guys go around and travel back roads and when they spot a house that's got a ton of junk outside they stop and ask if they can look around and if the person is ready to sell anything. They find some really cool things. David thinks he's a picker of sorts but these guys are awesome. They've got a business called Antique Archaeology or something like that.

Not much else to say. I'll try to remember my camera and take some video of the new house.

Soooo Sad

Today my baby girl has to get her shots :( I am so sad she's gonna get poked.

We went and did the walk through for our new house yesterday and I had a moment of HUGE relief! I was worried she wouldn't want to paint because the house needed it but she did! She was attempting a beige color on the walls and it's slightly darker and kind of an orangier color but the new white trim makes it all look so much better! Also I'm really excited because we have views of the mountains from all of our windows! They're so close! Pictures to come soon :0)

David and I--Christmas time 2010!

Deer in Wyoming. David was a little upset--he wanted to know where all these deer were while he was hunting...or should I say chasing this hunting season??

This looks like someone was playing with explosives :0) It was just a factory though.

This was our visibility in Wyoming due to the blowing snow. You couln't see anything past that fence. Obviously, you can see that ;)

Depending on how Avery feels this afternoon, I may start moving some of her stuff over today! I'm kind of excited!

Pictures!

Avery's hair after throwing a fit in her carseat. She was so sweaty!

This is in Strawberry Canyon, leaving to come to OK

I'll add more tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home

It's good to be home. We need a vacation from our vacation! But it's back to the grind today.

We had a great time in Oklahoma and it was soooo good to see our family and friends. We also had a really great time in Denver with David's great Aunt.

Our drive home went well but we hit alot of bad weather in Wyoming. Blowing snow made it hard to see and ice is always no good. Not to mention the roads hadn't been plowed or sanded. It was so cold, our car couldn't heat the air. David had to cover up our radiator. We got home at a decent time though. Avery did really well. She's a pretty good traveller! Which is a good thing because we're thinking about going to Portland some day and that'll be another loooong drive!

Sunday we took her to church and she was awake the whole time and she didn't make a sound :0) She was in such a good mood yesterday. I love it.

Today we're doing the walk through and getting the keys for the house in Hyrum. Then we'll start moving in. So today I've got to get Avery's room packed up. It's too cold to move!
