Teething Bites.

Look at her little baby feet! I went in her room earlier and she had part of her legs through the bars.

She's having a tough time lately. She was waking about every 2 hours last night :(

She got to go play with her friends Jaydon and Kynlee yesterday afternoon for abut 30 minutes but I don't think she even knew I was gone. She didn't seem to care that I came back either! She loves loves loves kids! It's so funny. She gets so excited when kids are around and she just thinks they're all hysterical.

Ok, I better get something done since she's napping. I can't get anything done with her while she's awake right now. So gRuMpY.

Land of Bumps & Bruises

Avery's been falling and bumping her head and experiencing a little something called: frustration.

She got up early today since her daddy went in her room with me this morning and got her all excited :)

I put her down for her nap and after a while heard her so I went to check on her and there she was standing in her crib. The frustrating thing about her standing is she either falls or gets stuck because she hasn't figured out how to get back down. So now at night her bed time has been bumped back a little later because if it's light in her room she wants to play. If it's dark she won't. This has been the only reason I don't like longer days.

She only wants to stand at the coffee table or the side table that has the tv on it. The edges of the table are so sharp that it makes me really nervous so I try to move her to her exersaucer so she can stand at it but nope she wants the other tables. I try to put her at a big plastic tub. Nope, she wants the sharp tables that will hurt worse when she hits her head on them. David said she's either a slow learner or just really determined. Which we all know it's the latter :)

Oh she's a crazy girl.

Bear Lake and Tony Grove

We went to Bear Lake today and it was too cold for us to get in the water (most of us anyway) for most of the day. The sun finally came out but it was still really windy. After we left the lake we went to Tony Grove which is up Logan Canyon. It's a glacier lake. I wasn't as impressed with it as say...Bloomington but it was still nice. The altitude was 8,000 + feet.

Here's my girl at the lake. I was sad she didn't get to wear her swimsuit. I hope she gets to wear it before it's too small. It's getting close.

Here's Avery and Dayne. Dayne is 4 months older. He'll be one on the 6th. He's a real cutie. They weigh about the same but Avery's chubbier.

I think she ate quite a bit of sand today. I don't think she liked it so much but yet, she kept eating it.

She's been pretty grumpy lately. I'm guessing she's teething. She has not been her usual happy self. She was crying so much in the car today she kept gagging herself and she NEVER cries in the car. Poor girl.

Happy 4th!

So far I haven't got any pictures from the weekend. It's not over yet though! Some of our plans haven't worked out the way we wanted but that's ok. Saturday morning we got up and met our friends from Salt Lake here in Logan and went to the Farmer's Market. We got some goodies and ate some good food. That night we went to the cruise in. Each year here in Logan they have a car show Thurs-Sat I think and then Saturday night the cars cruise Main St. So everyone lines up along the road like a parade and watch all the cool cars go by. We thought a couple of our friends were going to come with us but they didn't so it was just David, me and Avery.

Sunday we went to church and were supposed to go to a BBQ afterwards but that didn't work out. We were supposed to go 4 wheeling and before we left David went to weld something and apparently bent over just right and pinched a nerve in his back. We saw this coming but it's a bummer it happened before 4 wheeling so we didn't get to go :(

We came home and watched some movies. Today we're supposed to go to Bear Lake. Hopefully that happens. I don't know how David's feeling since he's not up yet.

I'm very thankful that we are fortunate enough to live in the USA. God bless America!

I looked out the window last night and saw this. It looked like a pink mist coming up. Strange.

Today I looked up and Avery was standing at the TV. I guess she likes Beyonce!
