I suppose there's no harm in posting some harmless news about David and his job. On Monday he will be moving to an evening shift, working 2:00-10:30 I believe. He will become the evening supervisor guy and will be getting a raise. He will be only working these hours until September (hopefully) and then, here's the exciting part, they will move him back to days and he will get to be in the machine shop and will be running CNC machines. They made up this deal and presented it to him. It's a bummer because it will put a damper on some summer plans but you've gotta do what you gotta do.
I think he will be trying to see about going to machining school while he works nights too.
I went and got my hair cut and colored today. I love new hair cuts, especially when they're done right! I've been feeling pretty good. David and I talked last night about our plans as far as staying here but we've come to no conclusion. I guess we'll still just play it by ear. I have no problem staying here but for the first time I think, I want to go home yet I feel torn. Decisions decisions :0) They are so fun...

Thursday~My New Friday
I love not working on Fridays!! It's so glorious having 3 days off. I'm not sure of David's plans but he was going to tell his boss that he needed to take some time off to come to Oklahoma. I'm not sure when though...I should find that out :0) Unfortunately, I won't be able to come I'm sure. Unless he comes Memorial Day weekend. He may be wanting to come sooner though. I'm not sure. I really know nothing, can you tell?
So...update on the bean according to babycenter.com:
The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry. If you could see inside your womb, you'd spot eyelid folds partially covering her peepers, which already have some color, as well as the tip of her nose and tiny veins beneath parchment-thin skin. Both hemispheres of your baby's brain are growing, and her liver is churning out red blood cells until her bone marrow forms and takes over this role. She also has an appendix and a pancreas, which will eventually produce the hormone insulin to aid in digestion. A loop in your baby's growing intestines is bulging into her umbilical cord, which now has distinct blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to and from her tiny body.
Interesting huh? I thought so too! I'm not a patient person...I hope November gets here quick!

Another Good Day?
It's still early in the morning but so far so good! I felt pretty good yesterday and especially yesterday evening. Praise God! I hope I've finally figured out how to manage this :0) Give me a break, I'm new to this!!
Nothing new here really. Looks like there are going to be some changes at David's work...that's all I'm going to say about that :0)
I'm still training at the County and enjoying it. Other than that, there's nothing else to say!

Hooray For a Better Day!
Today was a million times better than yesterday! I think my problem this weekend and yesterday was that I was letting myself get too hungry. So today I started eating right away even though I didn't feel like it. But it made a huge difference.
Yesterday I was beginning to think that this was going to be my first and last pregnancy. Ok, that was a joke, don't take it seriously! :0)
Well, really I have nothing else to say!

OMG
I don't know what would be worse....actually throwing up or just feeling like it all the time. This weekend sucked as far as how I felt. Today has been better though since I got up early and came to work. Laying around always makes me feel bad. I don't think the peppermint oil helps me too much when I put it on but smelling it helps alot. I think I'm going to order these preggie pop things. It's worth a try I guess.
I wish I could have come to Oklahoma this week. I'm not sure I could have handled a flight out though :0) It would have been nice to see the family and my friends. Hopefully we'll come home soon though.
Today is going to be long...
I can't stay awake.

Ahhh...My Bed
The Brackin's went on their cruise so David and I came over and stayed in our bed. It's a funny thing how we have hated our bed since we got it. However, now that we've been sleeping in a different bed in our cabin, we relish the moments that get to be spent in our own bed. It feels like we're sleeping on a cloud. In fact, I was so comfortable I didn't get out of bed until 11:30! I was up off and on since 8:15 but dang, my bed felt good!! Also, I knew that when I got out of bed I'd feel sick so I was prolonging that too.
Now that I'm back at the County I'm working 4-10's. Three day weekends are nice :0)
I think today is going to be a day full of TV while David works in the garage. Lovely.

Crap
Today I drive to Salt Lake to pick up David's welder. Wouldn't you know that when I get about 3 minutes away from the place I realize I forgot my money to pay them the diagnostic fee? I look for my debit card and it's no where to be found. So now I'm waiting 30 minutes for David to go on break so he can call them and pay over the phone. Thankfully I of course had my computer with me and I was able to pick up someone's wireless.
I'm hungry, I'm nauseated and nothing sounds good. I'm so thankful that I'm not super sick...at least yet. I think I'll get some sort of ice cream on the way home though, that sounds good!
I can't believe by Thanksgiving there will be a little Irving here!! I'm so excited!
